Christine Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer
Christine Sullivan is Chief Executive Officer of the Enterprise Center at Salem State University —a small business growth center serving business at all stages of development on the North Shore with programs, an annual business plan competition, a special program for growth companies and more.  Several thousand small business owners use the resources of the Enterprise Center each year.

Prior to coming to the Enterprise Center Ms Sullivan was an entrepreneur and owner of Hawthorne Associates, an 18-year-old marketing, advertising and public relations firm serving clients in the US and internationally.

Ms Sullivan served as Massachusetts Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Chief of Staff in a Congressional office in Washington, DC.  She also Chaired the Communications Department at Endicott College.

Currently she is a member of the Salem Planning Board, the boards of the Salem Chamber of Commerce, Salem Award and Salem Y, and the North Shore Alliance for Economic Development and is a Director of Beverly Cooperative Bank.  She is a co-President of the Creative Economy Association of the North Shore and a member of the Creative Economy Council of Massachusetts.

Laura Swanson, Chief Operating Officer

Laura Swanson is the Chief Operating Officer of the Enterprise Center.   She has over twenty years of medical practice operations experience.  She was an entrepreneur and provided project management services to medical practices in a variety of specialties.  She has extensive experience with orthopedic and spine surgical practices.

Laura served as a member of the Salem City Council for four years as a Councilor-at-Large.  She was also a Commissioner for the Parks and Recreation Commission in the City of Salem and a founding board member for Salem  Access Television.   She is currently a member of the North Shore Medical Center Community Affairs and Health Access Committee and serves on the Advisory Boards of ESC of New England and the North Shore Technology Women's Initiative.   Ms. Swanson graduated magna cum laude from Salem State College with  a B.A. degree in History





Scott Gibney Jr - Marketing Director
Scott recently graduated from Salem State University, studying Business Management. Scott also was a recipient of the Jack Welch Scholarship. He has proven to be an invaluable resource for the Enterprise Center.

Bill Ronan - Facility Care, Operations and Audio Cast Expert
Bill is indispensable at the Enterprise Center. He oversees all facility and operations related issues and makes certain that everything in the Enterprise Center runs smoothly and seamlessly. As testimony to Bill's skills and flexibility, he also is in charge of all audio cast recordings of Enterprise Center workshops.

Herve Mukuna - Intern

Herve recently graduated from Salem State University, studying Economics with minors in Political Science and Business Administration. Before joining the Enterprise Center staff, Herve was an intern with Congressman Tierney’s  Lynn Office.
Herve was also president of the International Student Association and a senator with the Student Government Association.
